Remedy Rook
Remedy Rook grew up a wildling in rural Michigan, where the unique biome instilled in her a deep respect and awe for the natural world. She spent her childhood outdoors, hunting for snakes, identifying plants, making potions, chasing rainbows, searching for imaginary beasts, reading comics and drawing her favorite characters.
Remedy double-majored in Art and Environmental Biology in Michigan before heading to the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, where she dove into painting and drawing in the Fine Arts program. When her thesis funding was cut, she was forced to withdraw from the program.
In search of an adventure, she set off on an amazing 1,100-mile bicycle adventure through Oregon, Washington, Northern California, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, camping and performing along the way—a journey worth asking her about.
Remedy is passionate about advancing tattooing as an art form and transforming her artwork into stunning tattoos. She specializes in illustrative realism tattoos, realism tattoos, portraiture tattoos, and botanical work.
Remedy is now accepting clients who share a love for her unique style.
